About Gabriel Karkenny

Gabriel Karkenny, MD, specializes in infectious disease. His main clinical interests are adult health; infectious diseases, including respiratory infections, sexually transmitted diseases, and urinary tract infections; immunizations; and travel medicine. Dr. Karkenny received his MD from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine, in Brooklyn. He did an internal medicine residency and an infectious disease fellowship at Northwell Health–North Shore University Hospital and Northwell Health–Long Island Jewish Medical Center (Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell), in Manhasset, NY.
