Dr. Gandhi is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in infectious disease. She is an infectious disease specialist with particular clinical interest in influenza, HIV, tickborne illnesses such as Lyme disease and ehrlichiosis, soft tissue infections, and infection control. Dr. Gandhi received her MD from Medical University of the Americas, in Nevis, West Indies. She did an internal medicine residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, followed by a fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine. She is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
